Privacy policy

Last updated 2 October 2026

Expert Everywhere® Pty Ltd ("Expert Everywhere", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. It applies to this website and to our products, Hot Source™ and Virtually Myself®, unless a product has its own policy.

What we collect

  • Contact details you give us, such as your name, email, organisation and role.
  • Account and billing information when you subscribe to a product.
  • Content you upload or create in our products ("your content").
  • Technical information such as device, browser, IP address and pages visited, collected through cookies and similar tools.

How we use it

  • To provide, secure and improve our products and services.
  • To respond to enquiries and provide support.
  • To send service updates and, with your consent, news about our products. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

Your content stays yours

You retain ownership of everything you upload and create. We do not use your content to train AI models, and we do not sell your content or personal information. Your content is only processed to deliver the services you have asked for.

Where your data is stored

Your data is hosted in Australia. Where a product uses third-party AI or infrastructure providers, we choose providers that contractually commit not to train on or retain your content beyond what is needed to deliver the service. Some providers may process limited data outside Australia; where this happens we take reasonable steps to ensure it is protected to a standard consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with trusted service providers who help us run our business (such as hosting, payments and email), with your consent, or where required by law. Each provider is bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations.

Security

We use encryption in transit and at rest, isolated environments, role-based access and audit logging to protect your information. No system is completely secure, but we work to industry standards and review our controls regularly.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to make this website work and, with your consent, analytics cookies to understand how it is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Access, correction and deletion

You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal information at any time through our contact form. We will respond within 30 days.

Complaints

If you have a concern about how we handle your information, contact us through our contact form and we will work to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
